Biloxi (Scarlet Pearl) and Vicksburg MS.
For Valentine's Day we travelled to Ginger's favorite 'home away from home' - the Scarlet Pearl - Biloxi, MS. We decided to travel more miles but less time via Rt275-Rt75-Rt10. It worked! 30 miles more but 26 mins quicker (never going through many many speed trap towns. We also took advantage of our route and explored briefly the non-existent town of Two Egg (abandoned town) and then to Marianna to see the Bellamy Bridge - known to be one of the most haunted locations in Florida. As Ginger tested the slots and tables on Thursday, I decided to travel to Vicksburg and checkout the National Military Park and downtown Vicksburg.
A great trip overall, 1,647 miles in the 'Sube' with only one problem with 'Check Engine' lights on dashboard. No problem, just send info to Rob and the next day the gas cap was re-secured and system reset. PS: on the way home we noticed an 18" crack in the windshield ... "Safe Light is there" - this week!
